Alla Prima painting, or wet on wet, single session painting is a stimulating method which teaches you to be present in every brushstroke, prioritizing your efforts and actions. Ultimately giving you great dexterity and control. With demonstration and gentle critique, Felicia will teach you to correctly observe and record the fundamentals of shapes, values, edges, and color while following her step by step method, and special exercises.

Each day you will have a new portrait model. Felicia will demonstrate in the mornings and in the afternoon you will have the opportunity to practice the method she demonstrated with the same model. Felicia will be available to help you as you practice.

Note - do not pour any liquids (gamsol/mineral spirits, linseed/other oils, etc.), or oil paints, down any of the drains at MSA. You must remove from the gallery and dispose of elsewhere.
