The Youth In Arts C Street Celebration on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 showcased grade K-12 students from throughout Marin, who performed on a main stage, while supporting local arts organizations joined in the fun. YIA estimates that they serve about 5000 Marin County students through their program. Marin Society of Artists ran a printmaking table, staffed by members Carol Ponzio, Gail Morrison and Cathy Leather, showing students how to use simple gelli plate prints. Students rolled up their sleeves and used acrylic paint, brayers, stencils, leaves and dried flowers to try printmaking using the soft gelli plates. Other MSA members contributed materials, including Cindi Ewert who provided a tub of textured materials and Omer Wilson who donated numerous gently used brushes.
