Just in time for Halloween! Bay Area artists let you peek into their psyches and see their dreams and nightmares.
Featuring 72 pieces from 51 artists in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, in the Main Gallery.
Juror:The Artist Hines
Hines teaches Mastering Acrylic Painting every Tuesday at Riley Street Art Supplies in San Rafael. He also teaches drawing and painting at San Quentin Prison through the William James Association.
Hines will discuss his jurying process at the reception.
Our reception coincides with 2nd Friday Art Walk. The San Rafael Downtown Art District is promoting several fall art events, including these activities at MSA:
~ Live music provided by Pablo Malpica,
~ Music by ELM young musicians
~ Dia de Los Muertos Altar within the gallery
~ Chalk Mural Making, outside on the E street wall of the MSA building,
provided by muralist Oscar Morales and Voces del Canal.
