Fee, per session: Non-members $20; MSA members $15
No instructor, just four hours to draw or paint from a live model and hone your skills!
All mediums welcome. Bring your art supplies (oil painters Gamsol only), including easel, and containers to transport your dirty rags, water, brushes, etc. home. No clean-up at Gallery.
Please be on time, or a little early to minimize interruption and for the best view. CASH ONLY.

Drop-in only, cash or check (payable to MSA), no credit cards. Bring your lunch if you like.
No instructor, just three hours to get out of your solitary studio and work with other artists for inspiration, camaraderie and an overall good time in a non-structured environment.
Most mediums welcome. For example, pastel, acrylic, oil, charcoal, water mediums, wire and other 3-D work that does not require torches, soldering etc. Bring your art supplies (oil painters Gamsol only), including easel, and containers to transport your unused materials, dirty rags, water, brushes, etc. home. No clean-up or disposal at Gallery. No hazardous materials (clay, encaustic, etc.).

PAINTING THE ELEMENTS
a one day acrylic painting demonstration
Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 10am to 3pm NEW DATE.
An all-day series of painting demonstrations covering water, trees, mountains, snow, skies - all the elements. Alla prima and impasto techniques will be covered.
Students may simply watch the demonstrations, or bring their materials and paint along with the instructor. The last thirty minutes will cover subjects requested by the students.
There will be a 30 minute break during the class. Bring a snack, if you wish.
Mr. Healey studied at the Art Institute in San Francisco and is a graduate of the Academy of Advertising Art. Bernard is currently on the faculty of the College of Marin Emeritus Community Education and an instructor at the Mill Valley Community Center Art Department.
Fee: $50 non-members; $45 MSA members.
