MAGNIFICENT SKIES IN WATERCOLOR

A FOUR DAY WORKSHOP
Thursday, January 15 through Sunday, January 18
10am to 4pm
Start with painting simple skies with beautifully colored gradients and develop an understanding of ever more complex compositions and pattern, with the sky as the primary focus. Learn to layer skies so they look washy and loose, or clean and bold, or a combination of both and to paint spectacular sunsets. Aerial and diminutive perspectives will be covered. Some previous experience with watercolor is recommended. Individual attention will be given to all students.

Ms. Cohn has a BA Fine Art degree from U.C. Berkeley, a BFA at the College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, and a college teaching credential. Julie has 28 years of teaching experience that encompasses a wide range of subjects, from abstraction to realism. She gives students a strong foundation in watercolor technique, design, drawing, and conceptual thinking, helping them feel at ease as they progress.

Fee: $350 for non-members       $300 for MSA members

Please fill out and submit the registration form, then complete your registration by submitting your payment, either by credit/debit card/PayPal transfer below or mailing in your check with a copy of your registration form.
